[Voicemail received at 3:21 a.m.]

Alice?  It's me.  I'm....I think I'm going crazy, Alice.  I've started seeing and hearing things I haven't seen or heard since I was fifteen years old.  I keep seeing things out of the corner of my eye...  [She inhales softly]  And I keep hearing laughter or someone saying my name.  Sometimes I hear music too when there's no one there and the radio isn't on.

I think it's them, Alice.  I think it's them and they're coming back again.  [She sounds shaky and maybe a bit...drunk?  Her voice is a bit slurred as she rambles on]  Oh god, why are they coming back?  Toby doesn't remember anything.  I'm the only one who remembers and sometimes it just feels like a dream.

[She giggles nervously]  Or a nightmare.

[A long pause of silence before she lets out a shaky sigh]  If it's them, it can only mean one thing, Alice.  It's him.  He's coming back.

I think he's coming back for me.....

[Another long pause until one wonders if she's asleep or...gone.  Then she speaks again, her voice softer and more slurred.]

I took one of those pills.  I figured they can't do anything if I'm passed out, right?  You don't have to come over, I know you're probably already half dressed but...I'll be asleep.  I'll call you in the morning if I remember, okay?

But if I disappear, this message is so you'll know who took me.
